I think technically it's probably an MS63 but I would only pay MS62 prices for it because the gunk/stains is distracting..If you feel like sending it off to be graded this may be a good idea. If it comes back MS63 or 64 it would be an easier sale when needed.

VAM-3, shown by the tilted mint mark. It's about a $600 coin in the MS63 I think NGC would give it.

Fields look cleaner then the face and the Reverse has a lot of hits to the breast feathers and a fair amount in the fields. I would give it an MS 63 it is a very nice attractive piece but I would go with 1893s's statement and would only pay MS62 price as well, and I think a TPG because of the staining would be the lower but ya never know until ya send it In any case I would definitely do.

MS63 technically, but good chance PCGS would give it 62 (stains, bagmarks), so NGC is the better choice...

I think it may just make MS-64.

I agree with D0ubl3Eagle might hit a MS64 but more likely a MS63 which it is a solid grade at minimum.

Does certifying GSA dollars in lower MS grades really affect the price or sale-ability?

It does for people who understand how fast they're disappearing.
