Hello I just got this for Christmas and was wondering what exactly the errors are? If its a die clash or anything else? And what the value on a coin like this would be I just want to know if my mom got a good price on it. I can post a pic of the back later but that is the best pic I can get with my phone. Thank you all in advance and have a merry Christmas!!

Massive breaks, not just any crack. I would call it terminal die state.

means the die likely shattered not long after your coin was struck.

Ok does that happen often? Does that affect the value?

Not all dies are used to this point. It can happen to any die. Not abnormal. I do not think it increases value....just coolness.

Ok when I first saw it, it shocked me I was blown away by the extent on the error. My mom only paid $18 for it so its not to bad of a deal. One more question what exactly would this be called a terminal die state? Or is there another name for it?

VLDS. Very Late Die State. BTW, it is not an error. It is normal. Nice coin. You should thank your mom...
