elfof4sky Valued Member United States 64 Posts	Posted 12/27/2012 7:40 pm I've been CRHing for 2 years now and worked up 9 rolls of silver dimes. I recently sorted them and discovered only one 1955 US dime. After doing some research I learned that is some all time low mintage or what have you, and yet there is almost no demand for it, meaning it isn't worth much to any collector or dealer. Year of the LWC Double die... low mintage coins... it's like the original 'V' nickle. Many were saved as it didn't have cents, and people were gold-plating them to sell them as $5. The news said they would recall them, but the government didn't. Anyway, many of the coins were saved as people thought they would be worth a lot of money someday.
