So chances are, this may not be the right place, but I'm not even sure what this is, and this is my best bet.

Here are some pictures, and if anyone can tell me what or why, it'd be appreciated (I took the pictures from ebay, as I'm more interested in what it is. I have a certificate of authentication that it was minted by the Centre Coin Company, and is 10k gold).

It is a copy of a $20 territorial gold coin issued by ClAssay Office which eventually morphed into the Denver ark Gruber & Co. CGCO was eventually turned into a US Mint. Original CGCO coins in denominations of $5, $10 and $20 are fairly rare and sought after and they are listed in the Territorial Gold section of the Red Book. Based on the photos, it appears to have the color of a brass composition rather than gold.

Edit: I should also mention that my avatar is a $5 CGCO

Yeah, the one in the picture does look brass. I'm pretty certain mine is gold though. I just didn't know if there was any actual history behind the copy, although I doubt there is.

Thanks for moving this to this section whoever did.
