Quote: Obviously, he knows nothing about coins or photography Or spelling (quater). Obviously, he has a very special collection with coins struck sideways and upside down. I shouldn't poke fun. He might be someone with obstacles, doing the best he can. Your first link worked via cut & paste. Second link didn't work. By the way, it seems to me that new users ought not post links, dma110. Another "by the way":

Just looks like an uneducated seller who got ahold of something old and assumed they hit the jackpot.

Seller is in Olathe, Colorado. Population 1,500+. Annual highlight is the Sweet Corn Festival.
Sounds like a great place to visit!

Looks like they have a $300 Franklin half for sale as well. However the 1964 "XF" Kennedy they posted has a more reasonable starting bid.

I want a 50 dollar Washington quarter with common date and big dent. Anybody know where I can get one? daniels, I may consider his overpriced quarter but there were no crumbs with this coin so I may have to pass. It reminds me of the sellers that hold their item during the picture process and the sellers hands and nails are absolutely filthy. No hand models for you.

"only on ebay"..... I must admit, though---I was particularly taken by the cookie crumbs/dirt/rust flakes/whatever.

His 1944 silver "quater" is only $50. A 1944 silver "quarter" is much more affordable. A well-worn 1920 (?) Walking Liberty half for $1,400? $200 for a '52 Franklin? His photography skills are limited to placing the coin on a scanner and pushing a button. Someone should have tutored him on ebay selling.
