I've been lucky twice in my coin collecting life to be able to get two different lots of bulk change, one my dad's, and the other an old co-workers. I was wondering if you anybody had some advice on how to buy bulk lots of old coins to sort through? I've tried to put ads on Craigslist and stuff but never seem to get any bites. I don't even care if I lose a bit of money on the deal, the hunting is priceless entertainment for me...
Any advice?

I've picked up several off ebay over the last few years. I tend to focus on the silver coins and try to get them for a little under spot. Particular when spot has dropped a couple of bucks. :-) Got lucky a couple of times with finding varieties I didn't have yet. Any nice coins I'm not keeping I re-package and sell individually. Usually break-even or a small loss (as you say, that's the price of entertainment. Cheaper than going to the movies these days! :-) ). The 'scrap' silver goes in the drawer for when spot goes back up again.

Thanks kuh_85!
You're right, the hours of sorting are far more exhilerating the any movie. I'm just trying to convince my girlfriend of that fact...
