Picked these up today from a local seller in Ottawa named Ron Macdonald....im sure a few of the Ottawa guys know him... $85 in face for $100...Figured I couldnt go wrong.

Ya got yourself a great deal..The 1937 $ 5.00 could easily sell for 30 + and the 37 $ 1.00 is another 5 to 10.00
now check all the 54's to see if you have any devils face bills... if you do the cha ching again

Hard to go wrong with that indeed. Yes as mentioned above, check very thoroughly for devils face notes.

Rod is a nice guy. He does not bother with varieties, I think he prefers the customer interaction over making a few extra bucks, and he actually moves a lot of material. However, that begs the question - what do you think Rod paid for that lot?
