I've been humming and hawing for a about a week about this coin. I even told my wife about it, which is rare because I know when I start talking coins, she gets a glazed look in her eyes, you know the one, kinda like the one we get when our wives say something like "let's go to the mall". So anyways, yesterday she says, "if you like, get it, Merry Christmas". So I did, and here it is. An 1888 W8 that will be taking a trip to ICCS.

Nice. Interested to see the final grade.
Speaking of wives...mine says to me last night "so, when you die, how do I go about selling your coin collection?". Now that is cold.
Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep after that question.

You should have replied, "The same way I plan to sell all your Jewellery when you die, E-bay!" Glenn

Really nice "two-bits"! Quote: Speaking of wives...mine says to me last night "so, when you die, how do I go about selling your coin collection?". Now that is cold.
Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep after that question. My girlfriend's weird. One day she asked me, "If you could know how and when you were going to die, would you want to know?" I said, "No." She said, "Okay, forget it."Steven Wright (although I have heard this a couple different ways...or was it a couple of different wives?) http://jpetrie.myweb.uga.edu/wright.html

Wives should know this stuff....one never knows when one will pass, and the other is left with tons of coins and paper money that he/she knows nothing about. Unless, of course in our case we both know what value we have.

Don't worry Shafta9a, I'm sure when we're dead and gone, our wives' future boyfriend/husband will make every effort to cash in on our Collection! Glenn
