It had taken me 10 years to find this overdate mainly because this magazine was in storage most of that time.

I know this thread should be in another forum, but being a overdate error on a error magazine, thought most error collectors would miss this thread if posted in another forum.

Anyway, a few days back I thought I would go through 3 large plastic storage containers that held most of my numismatic books, catalogs and magazines.

As I was sorting out my "Error World" magazines, I noticed that what I thought was a 2002 edition was in fact the January/Febuary 2003 edition, and had to do a double take as the "3" was under a "2" making it a 2003/2 overdate. I didn't think this was possible on a printing press, and still curious how this happened.

Below are photos I thought I would share, and others that have this magazine can check theirs for the overdate, as I assume all of this edition are 2003/2.

Might I suggest it was done on purpose?

And that is not the only error...

Febuary? They are missing an extra R there!

@jerseyben

Why would I waste my time faking this magazine cover when I could post photos of over 2,000 error coins...

I don't think jerseyben meant you faked it... I would assume he meant that he thought they did it on purpose... Being how its a magazine on errors maybe they were seeing who'd catch it.. That's how I took it anyways... And I originally thought the same thing.. But being that February is misspelled also now I'm leaning towards it wasn't...
Really cool though... An error on an error magazine!

Sorry jerseyben, I had mistaken your comment thinking that I had somehow changed the cover. Guess I shouldn't have reacted so quickly...

Funny cover and great topic! 2002 dated errors are pretty elusive.
