I am looking to buy a few coins to help my friend finish off his Irish collection. ebay seems to have some pretty average coins. The only other site I could find was Del Parker.

If there are any irish collectors here who could steer me in the right direction it woudl be much appreciated.

Also has anyone dealt with Del Parker before?

Thanks Bacchus2. I went through their catalogue and couldnt find any of the dates I'm after. I'm not sure if they would ship items either.

Hi enworb,
I live in Ireland but do find it very difficult to get hold of decent coins here.
What type are you after?
I imagine they are pre Irish Free Stata (1928)

Actually they are later dates, some of the harder dates and some that shouldnt be too hard but I'm finding difficult to get in decent condition.

Maybe i'll post a few of the dates and if you happen to stumble across them and dont want them yourself you could kondly point me in the direction.
1/2d: 1940
1d: 1931, 33, 42, 48, 50
3d: 1943, 47, 48
6d: 1940, 42, 46, 50, 60
1/-: 1935, 1940
2/-: 1930, 1943, 1961
2'6: 1930, 31, 37, 41, 61, 63

From what I'm learning it seems there are quite a few fake 1943 florins out there and the genuine items are in very short supply.

I sold a couple of the dates you're after only a few months ago. But I've got none of the others at the moment.
But I'll keep your list and if I find any, I'll let you know.
