oh my florin Pillar of the Community Australia 1006 Posts	Posted 01/06/2013 01:35 am Outstanding service and coin collecting encouragement award goes to Tony Byrne Of A.Byrne Coins. I recently met him at the last petersham coin show he was kind and polite he gave me invaluable advice and encouraged me to continue coin collecting being seventeen had pretty much given a few of the dealers an excuse to ignore me or be very abrupt with me (even when there was no one else to serve). So it was a great breath of fresh air for me meeting someone who I could engage with about this great hobby. Even later on when I bought a few florins from him I handed over my money but handed around half of it back. I was a bit shocked at this unexpected discount but he said "this is for your first time." Also it wasnt just some cheap transaction it was a couple of hundred dollars and he gave me around a 40% discount overall. I must give this guy a glowing rap on his attitude, customer service, polite and helpful to a young collector. If anyone lives in Canberra or anywhere else I would highly highly recommend him he has great coins at great prices and his customer service is priceless. It shows great foresight and is a great way to encourage customer loyalty. My fishing tackle bloke gives me a bit of a discount all the time and I wont shop anywhere else as a result. A lot of dealers mustn't have people skills hence the lack of customer service. It's great to hear a postive experience Oh my florin. The second one gave me a similar experience to what you had at the show. I now go to him at least once a week and never go to the other one. Good service is very valuable. You need to enjoy the hobby after all. If buying coins from a dealer isn't something you dont enjoy then you start to question why youre doing it. Report this Post to the Staff

Super fast service and super high quality products and just an all round nice people.
