Hey All!

Just got me a spiffy new coin that I unfortunately have no info on. It's a ZAR 1 Penny from 1898. Looking for a rough price estimate and/or KM#. I grade it at about VF+ but I'm a novice. Thanks in advance!

I normally check his gallery for listings. Must have missed this one. Most of his prices are an average and don't focus on specific dates. Thanks for the info though. I have something to go on now.

I was soooo0 happy I noticed a got a reply to my question on price for this coin.

Alas it's a conversation about smuggling squirrels in facial hair.

Sorry, GO - I got distracted and never got around to posting in this thread.

In this instance, he's quoted the price for the most common date - 1898. My 2004 edition Krause has it at $3 in VF for 1898. The earlier years are scarcer: 1892 ($7), 1893 ($60) and 1894 ($15).
