Wow, that is amazing!!

I would have never thought anyone would ever find an obsolete form of currency in circulation, let alone a large cent! But I guess it makes sense seeing how it's roughly the diameter of a half dollar and has a similar composition to modern halves sans the clad covering. Still an amazing find though.

Also, it's roughly the same weight. Large cents are 10.9 grams, clad halves are 11.3 grams.
