Could you please post pictures of this coin, and of its edge ? This is the second most expensive mexican coin of this type (MX being the most expensive) so ... unless you paid several thousand dollars for it, there is a good chance for it to be fake.

Please post pictures of your new coin. Always like to see beautiful Pillar Dollars. And please as mentioned above, post pictures of the edge if you can.

In my humble opinion, I would be afraid of that coin. The mint marks are wrong and the "3s" are wrong in my eye.

Can you please take a picture of the edge near the V of VTRAQUE ? (Swamperbob, want to comment about edging priority ? :D )

The photos are too small to be 100% positive, but I believe the coin is a modern forgery. My degree of confidence in this opinion is about 9 out of 10. There are numerous reasons for this some of which could be resolved by larger photos. I would also like to see the edge at the V in VTRAQUE to see if the lap is correct. The 3's are odd but that is normal of 1733. So at this size I can not tell. The column design may be incorrect. The fine portions of the capital are crude (could be photo size). The shape and globe design is odd (the old world is not round). For a high grade coin the globe fine details are not visible. None of the letters are clear enough to form an opinion. But the edge is wrong. The design is thin and far too deep. There I have almost enough detail to be 100 %positive. The dentils have a porous appearance and twist as if they were distorted by more that just the edging of the coin. Most 1733's were edged post strike so the priority would be correct BUT at some points like at the first 3 in the date I see the opposite effect with the dentils crushing the edge. Fine irregular, non-radial dentils is a VERY bad sign and appears frequently on forgeries. Finally the surfaces look dead like a casting. It looks worse on the larger photos. I hold out very little hope that this coin will grade unless the graders are asleep when they look at it. For comparison here is a real 1732 struck from clashed dies - but the details should be similar.  I have the same problem as you with the size allowed on the forum so the following are smaller sections I can post with the same limits. Column Capitals;  Dentils;  Globes;

Well, I'm afraid it's more than perhaps here ... As I said, I hope you didn't paid too much for it. Before you buy some more of this type, you should read posts by Swamperbob, he has made very interesting comments on this types, which you'll be able to use to learn on how to try to figure out if a coin seems correct or not. When I saw your pictures, except for the denticles and background and some design elements which told me there was something wrong, the edge jumped in my eyes with a big red sign.
