Today I bought a roll of silver dollars (Morgans and Peace) at $30 each. Average circulated condition. Bought locally in LA area. ebay seems more expensive for silver dollars. I think I got a decent deal. Thoughts anyone?

My place usually has them at around $26-27. However, they get picked through pretty quick leaving behind only low grade dollars for the same price.

Those are 90% coins, so that's about right giving the seller a little room for profit.

I used to have an LCS that would sell Morgan/Peace dollars at melt. Til he figured out he had a guy coming in and flipping everything on ebay. Now he's at $30 apiece. Best I can get a junk Morgan currently is my other LCS at $28.

Yeah, it is hard to believe how Morgans have moved up in price lately. A little over a year ago, I bought 24 Morgans from a friend of my wife for $24 each. All were fine or better quality. That was a fair price then but seems cheap these days. Some of the local shops are selling these for $35 each now and people are buying them! Buyers outnumber sellers around here, so even finding some in stock is a matter of being there shortly after one of the few sellers has been in.
