No grades listed and photos too small and dark to judge.

Seems like a fair price. The Numismedia FMV of the coins you listed (other than the colonial), assuming each only graded at G4, comes to $340.

Can we have a pic of the NJ copper obverse and reverse? For what its worth the "serpent head" Maris 54-k is an 1787 not 1786.

So it seems pretty fair and what I see from the pics the coins are probably in the G4 range, I've never bought a gold coin before either. Amida17, I wish I had better pics of the colonial, I'm wondering if he meant 1787 hmmm.

Not a bad lot but if it were me, I would try to pay much less than $350 for them all.

A good percentage of the value of the lot is going to depend on the 1887 Gold Dollar. Hopefully it is indeed genuine and is not harshly cleaned or otherwise damaged. Can't really tell from the photos if there are any problems but it looks like it could be XF or AU so it has the potential to be worth over $200 alone. The 1835 Half Dime, the 1858 half, and the New Jersey Copper could have some value as well if they don't have any problems that would prevent them from grading. Overall $350 could be reasonable. Can you get better pictures?

Definitely get them to knock off $50, but I'd go for closer to $100. The coins while nice are just too low end to go for full price.
Buy low sell high.

I'm a bit on the picky side. I would pass on those if I had to buy the entire mess. Most are or appear to be really Poor to Good at best. Most coin price lists start at G-4 but for most of those you would need a Poor grade such as AG-2 or -3. The worst thing about almost all of those is what are you going to do with them? For a filler in an Album, maybe. Otherwise just some STUFF laying around. As already mentioned, IF that Gold Dollar is real, not cleaned, might be the only thing I'd go for.

You might not like my answer, but I would not buy a group like this. These are terribly common coins in low grade and they add up quickly to a good chunk of change. What is the motivation to buy these? If for the gold then take the $350 and put it toward a single gold coin or two.

I can agree with the low grade, but I think that it all boils down to what you want out of a collection. For me, I'm looking for an almost 7070 type collection to see which series that I fall in love with. I've already found a couple that I love, the Mercs, Morgans, and SL Halves. For $350 to get a decent variety of coin, it may be worth it jsut to get a variety for a newer collector to see where their notch is. I would say that if you haven't already determined which series you want to jump into, then maybe a "shotgun spectrum" buy would be good to jump in on. Personally, I'm not far enough into any series that I would probably haggle it down as much as possible and take it (provided the cleanings were easy and the coins were legit).

Thanks so much guys, I'm going to see how low I can drop the price to, will ask for his bottom dollar today, would be sweet to buy them for 200 and like RES said get a nice variety of coins. In the past I was just into the silver content but as of late I want to invest in better conditioned coins. I'm certainly not going to buy them if they all look cleaned etc. I will also bring my scale to weigh the gold coin, just to be safe.

Uh, if you're looking for higher quality coins, then this may not be the lot for you. It is a great variety, but it is not the best conditioned set ever.
