1890 CC VAM Help - Coin Community Forum

I have looked it up in VAM World and I'm not sure what it is. Can anyone help me? Here is the link to my auction. http://www.ebay.com/itm/11100294254....m1555.l2649 It looks like a tilted date VAM 2, But also looks like it was maybe doubled? SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 01/20/2013 3:07 pm I'd call that VAM-2, understanding there's not a whole lot of information extant on the variety. A little doubling unmentioned at VAMworld wouldn't be shocking. Although your starting price is well within the value of the coin, I suspect it will turn off many bidders who expect 0.99 auction starts. I only added the percentage of loss to ebay plus my purchase price for the start. If it doesn't sell that's ok with me, but I don't want to take a loss on it. Report this Post to the Staff

If you're patient, a sharp buyer who knows the coin's worth will sometimes set up a snipe for the end of the auction so he gets it for your starting price. I've done it. Report this Post to the Staff
