I believe it can, I've seen quite a few examples of older copper or brass(US and World) start showing signs of Blue/Purple/Green toning. Doesent even have to be MS or Unc! Gorgeous Civil war Tonken by the way

Absolutely. I just purchased a CW token at the FUN show that was graded MS-64 and it has the most beautiful electric blue toning all over it. The reverse even has some pink hues mixed in w/ the blue. The token is simply stunning

The two, toned tokens that the same dealer had may well have been companions, housed in the same old paper flip for many years. I've long seen this occur, having bought older collections over the years. Then too, there could be PVC residue which may eventually turn the blue area to green. Hard to differentiate this from the pic. Time will tell.

The "Horrors of War" CWT is one of my favorite copperhead issues in the series. It's difficult to understand how folks back then could visualize how a peaceful compromise over slavery could be sustained in a forever union. Yet, that's what this token seems to promote.

This Half Cent is graded MS65BN by NGC. Based on the obverse the more appropriate grade might be MS65-Blue! It has beautiful shades of blue in the crevices of the hair, the LIBERTY band, and over the fields. I've seen similar toning on high-grade Indian cents (unfortunately, I don't have any of those). So, the answer to your question is yes, copper can naturally tone with blue colors and top grading services recognize this fact by awarding no-problem grade judgments.

If you ever searched pennies, you would see that copper can turn all sorts of colors.

Your coin sure looks real, I've seen many IHC and 2¢ coins with lots of blue toning, mostly on proofs though.

Could be MS-70, I found this link not too long ago, I've personally never used MS-70 dip. but according to this thread it turns copper blue over time.
