I'm torn between high VF and XF-40, hair curl separate from ribbon, but diamond detail appears weak(although difficult to tell in this photo). On reverse wear on wreath seems high for XF 40. Could be due to weak strike, I will go with XF -40.

I don't see XF here. I'm at VF30. Nevertheless, that's a nice grade for a 76'.

Yours would be about VF-35. How much did you pay for it? I managed to find one of those in a bargain bin once in AG.

I think VF35 I can also see where the EF40 crowd is at, a very nice IHC vermontensium.

Thanks guys! My records indicate that I purchased it from the "Penny Lady" if any of you know who she is. She had it at VF35...I agree :-)
Paid $140

Well Charmy along with Rick Snow and Brian Wagner are all known to deal in only the top tier FE's and IHC's! She has a great inventory.

I agree with VF35, nice 1876, One of the bookends, which is what I refer to the '76 and the '78

I think VF 35. With better diamonds EF40. Great coin regardless!
