Royal Australian Mint
Be one of the first in Australia to get your hands on the new Centenary of Canberra 20 cent coin - come down with your own 20 cent coin to PM's XI in Manuka tomorrow from 12 noon and swap it for a brand new one!

Just to confirm, the 20c WILL be a circulating coin for 2013 - I actually find the A Stokic design to be quite appealing.

Tim, did you want to change one for me? I'll give you 20c, you give them 20c, they give you shiny 20c & then you give me shiny 20c.

I don't really like the design but I would of liked to see the others that were a possibility, I think the design is too 'busy' in terms of lines of the streets.

I think it must appeal to my stylised architectural leanings lol

Thanks for the link Unicorn - that nicely encapsulates the basis of the design

I must say that the design appeals to me too. Not only that but if I get lost driving around Canberra I just have to pull the coin out.

I was so glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when I read FNQ's reply, but MOR that's hilarious.

(Coming from someone who has been on more than one Canberra roundabout for more than 360 degrees.)
