Fantastic coin and a VERY scarce business strike date...XF.

May I ask where you bought it from and for how much?

I purchased it on ebay for $500. I would have never guessed I would make this kind of purchase on ebay - it is a first for me. I have been searching for a VERY long time to fill the harder 1880's dates with business strikes. I know that some may think I over paid, but as many of these I have looked at online and in hand, I am pleased with this purchase.

I decided not to put it on GTP since there are so few like it that have sold in the last 5 years - it just didn't seem fair. A lot a players like to research a coin before the post a guess and this would have popped up immediately (plus I got to post early!).

Congrats on the tough coin to fill a hole in your collection, a very nice piece!
