Ok I would like everyone's honest opinion on this one. I got it from a friend that got it from her dad (he collected coins) and would like an opinion on it. I can say that it has never been cleaned just my picture taking skills are terrible but this coin has some insane proof like appearances and even passed the 5 inch proof like test with newspaper. One thing I couldn't capture in the pics is the toning, it alike a pink/purple/blue. Ill try to take better pics soon

Hard to take pics because of how reflective that it is. But here is my best and any guess to grade would be great and if someone could VAM it with these pics then even better.

This is my favorite pic I could take because it shows some of the blue and pink

Try cropping the pictures to take out some of the background. The reverse is fantastic - awesome colours. A real 'rising phoenix'. I can't decide on the obverse, so for now you just get popcorn guy until others chime in....

The obverse is making me think MS. But when I see the reverse, I am not sure if there is toning or wear on the feathers.

1881-S is pretty commonly found in MS with a lot of luster, I'd venture this no worse than MS63 and maybe MS64 might get a + grade in TPG slab for the nice look of color in the toning and the PL on the reverse.

I'd say a MS-64, maybe even MS-63. The reverse looks perfect, but her cheek is a bit scuffed up.
But wow!! the toning is amazing!! Really a beautiful lady, that's some great toning!

Thank you very much I'm going to send it in to get graded not because of the intrinsic value but the sentamental value. And yes the toning is quite remarkable it's wat better in hand then in photos

Nice Morgan! I would give it an MS 63 there is a lot going on on the obverse but 64 if the reverse is near perfect,

Voshus007, sounds like a good reason to me for grading! I had my dad's 1964-d dime graded for that reason
Rest in Peace

Toning is almost impossible to capture accurately in photos. I'm guessing this coin is stunning in hand and I look forward to your post letting us all know how it fared.
