Note to self: Get the letters T and V stamps out, use a vice grip and hammer them into a penny. Sell for $1250 - since there are two it should be half the price.

He would have had better luck selling it as a double strike.

The coin that got me into collecting is actually a counterstamped 7 on a LHC 1972 date, Lincoln looks as if he is smoking a pipe, my dad gave it too me from change he got at ACE Hardware in 1974, I still remember that moment and have the coin, to me it's worth more than $2500.00 but I will never sell it.
