I needed a 38 D hole filler and was flipping through a seller's nickels and picked this one up noticing what appeared to be a RPM. Anyway I bought it but am not sure a 38 D rpm or DDR exists as I could find no such discovered variety.

This may be just good example of Machine Doubling however I could use some of your wise help. Thanks

That's a dang nice coin. I haven't come across any 38's while roll hunting and will probably have to buy some off ebay. You never know though I might find some.

I think it's Machine Doubling, imo.
