There is a huge price difference between grades for this coin so I would like to know opinions on where you think this girl would fall. Pictures are those of the seller, not mine.

a few nicks on a wing, but generally I would agree with the AU as indicated. re: seller pictures - I was going to compliment the color of your nail polish.

I wouldn't touch one of these raw in that borderline area. Looks EF40 to me.

Quote: Yeah, buy it as an XF-40 That's the grade I think PCGS would offer it. So, the price on the flip is a little more than 3x the coin's actual value.

XF40 conservatively.
$300 max is what I'd give him.

Thank you for all the opinions. It seems everyone thinks it is basically an XF. If someone were to purchase the coin for XF value, do you think it would be worthwhile to send it in, in hopes of it sneaking into the AU range. Does it have any chance at all or is it an obvious XF to everyone.
The coin looks like it may have been cleaned. Could be a minor and old cleaning, but cleaning nonetheless. How much would this be worth to someone if it were slabbed XF details cleaned?.......OR I suppose AU details cleaned (if the seemingly impossible comes true.)

I am familiar with this seller (gus*******) and have purchased morgans from him/her. Half were cleaned. And I was able to return them(shipping at my expense)for a refund. This was over three years ago. Look at the recent feedback and make sure the seller has a reasonable return policy (14 days preferred). If problem-free this is easily XF with a shot at AU. It's very important for you to understand that PCGS, NGC and/or ANACs will give it great scrutiny due to the key date/mintmark and the large price jump between XF-AU.
