Westcoin- if you got F-12 money for that coin you did real good, not so good for the buyer

That's what I always thought? In another recent thread, a G$3 piece that PCGS just graded also shocked me. Maybe something is going on in the grading room because PCGS had a huge backlog in Dec/Jan. At least in these cases the results were in favor of the submitter.

Agreed this one is only VG6 (I don't even think it would have make VG8 as per my comment above), it was purchased raw as a G/VG coin in a lot of IHC. I ended up stuck for about a year holding this coin, I had some empty slots on a PCGS coupon deal so I tossed it in the batch going in, was pleasantly surprised at the grade it came back at, since I bought it to resale. I ended up selling it to someone who had passed on it at several shows, I had a table at, he paid a lot more than I originally asked before submission.

P.S. This coin is several years old (not a recent submission).
