The price is a bit steep but a stunning coin nonetheless! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-oz-Fine-S...150988639889*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ****** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Please put as much info in the title as you can, they are very important. ***

It sure is pretty! After watching Canadian silver coinage for a couple of months, I gotta admit, there is no finer artistry in numismatics than a Canadian silver coin. This one is the cream of the crop. I'm getting this one.

The SMLs, especially in proof finish are very nice. Quote: I'm getting this one. It's been in general release from the Mint since Tuesday and the mintage is over 90% sold. But it is still available through some dealers at issue price including Talisman for those in the US looking to save on shipping and currency exchange.

Bored and going through historical posts from before I was on the forum. I came across this and was curious, but the links don't still work. Could someone tell me what the coin was or provide an image?

I remember when this coin was released a decade or so ago. It didn't excite me at the time, so I passed on it. I haven't missed it!

@commems I have to say I agree with you. From what I could see of the old thread (I couldn't get the old links to work), I thought it may have been something I missed and would have to search for, but after seeing what it was, with mice 45's help, I'm feeling okay.

I just saw this post also. That's a lovely coin! I agree with Fatman's older comments: Quote: there is no finer artistry in numismatics than a Canadian silver coin. Thanks to Dearborn showing his coin, I'm now in the market for the ML with Ruthenium and Gold, 1 oz. It might be quite the search with such a low mintage but, I'll try. Yes, Canadian coins are quite artistic. They can take the simplistic Maple Leaves and make them real stunners!
