Ok sweet, no I didnt find it in a roll. I bought it for 20$ from a guy. I have been wanting one. Its toned brown and probably isn't worth more than I paid but I was tired of looking in rolls to no avail. Just glad its real. :)

About $17 in MS60 according to numismedia.com. I have found two or three roll searching so they are out there.

Great find, for $20? Even if you decide to get graded,I still think the total cost (about$50,with the $20,included) would be worth it! Check your condition of the coin, then check the graded prices out there. You'll than see,you would come ahead of the game. Cool! -joey

Nice get...I bet I've checked a bajillion of them and I don't blame you a bit for going that route. I recently bought a 1963-D with a doubled 3 that I had been trying to find to no avail. I have one now !

Great example! Look, if you like it and it was within your budget, enjoy it.

The value of a coin is only really what someone is willing to pay for it and not what is printed or stated elsewhere. There are coins that sing to us that others may think we are nuts to pay a certain price for. My avatar is one of them; when I posted it with the purchase price, I am sure there were more than a couple of members here who thought I was nuts (which I could be but that is a topic for a different thread). To this day, I am glad that I purchased it and have no plans to sell it.
