Hi fellow coin enthusiasts,

I've only just discovered this forum and my passion for coin collecting again.

I was searching ebay for an approximate value for the 2008 20 cent with the gap to the swirl. Does anyone have a rough idea just how hard these coins are to find and an approximate value?

I have only just discovered noddling and I'm searching for the 1966 20 cent variety. Fingers crossed.

Out of interest were are people on this forum located. I'm in metro Adelaide.

Thanks in advance.

to CCF!

Im in Metro Adelaide as well. I find the 2008 gap quite often. Value wise probably $1-2.

P.s. Stay away from banks around Blackwood, Mitcham and Unley

Look out, enworb's marking out his territory....!

Agree, the 2008 gap is pretty easy to find by noodling. 1966 wavy is another matter...

Thanks for the reply. I will stay away from those branches. I wouldn't want to get a prenoodled bag of coins. Are there many other people from SA that are active on here?

I have noodled 14 plus (14+) 2008 wave-platypus head gap 20 cent coins over one and a half years. They are reasonably common, compared to (say) the 50 cent millennium incuse coin, or the 1966 20 cent "wavy".

I live in Melbourne, and visit banks far and wide throughout that vast sprawling metropolis
