I haven't bought any boxes yet but am very interested in doing so my question I guess is how do you go about ordering the box from the bank cause I'm pretty sure you cant just go in with out telling them and take all there coins so do I ask to order a box?

Ask if you need to order a box. If they say yes then order one. If they say no than take what they can spare.

also, if you are searching for silver, varieties, or errors, try to get customer wrapped rolls or bank wrapped rolls. Rolls from the bank's supplier would be less likely to contain any of those.

Socceraustin, you have to be careful with customer wrapped rolls to make sure you aren't hunting at someone else's dump bank. Before I return rolls I use a black Sharpie marker to put a black circle around the right end of the paper wrapper. This way I know which rolls I've already looked through when I go to get customer wrapped rolls at that or other banks. I've seen other markings like this one rolls and have asked the tellers not to include them in my take (after determining a couple times that there was nothing left of value in these other marked rolls).

Good Luck hunting!

I do the same thing as TJB17. I go around the end of the rolls with a pen however when I do it.

Though if you do end up with some marked rolls, it's not always a bad thing. Some people hunt for dates alone and I've snagged a few nice varieties from other people's discards.
