Hi again,

Just wanted to show you my 1948 penny just wanted to have your thoughts on grade and possibly value.

The scans do not show the full lusture of the coin but the photos show a little of the lusture, much better in person.

Nice strike, some remaining lustre and not too much wear apparent.

I think its better than EF. I would call it aUNC getting close to UNC. There is no wear and a lot of lustre. No detracting marks either. Theyre quite common in high grades along with the 1947, 49, 50, 51 and 52 Melbourne dated pennies. I would say its worth $10-15 because of this.

I would have said UNC too.
