This one is hard for me to pin down. It's in a PCGS slab and marked Series 52 Coin 25. The coin has what I believe are attributes to two or three different VAM's. #'s 3A, 10 & 10A. There is no die break at the top of the left wreath like on VAM3. If you'd like to see images of any other areas, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for the help. What are your thoughts SsuperDdave?

I had 10A on the top of my list. I read at VAM World that if the dash below the 8 was polished away it was a 10A. Playing VAM can take up lots of time. I spent 5 hours to ID 3 VAMS for 4 Morgans. This one was making me scratch my. Three more Morgans to go.
When you have the features available, concentrate hard on date location and mint mark orientation. They usually don't confirm an attribution, but they will always help eliminate possibilities. Same goes for die cracks - they're fingerprints. Many Morgans have them in the same general locations, but minute differences in location - where they intersect a star or a letter, what kinks they have during their run - are always unique. More than one named VAM has been disenfranchised by proof that the die cracks exactly match another.
I'm not much help with VAM numbers generally, but I'm learning. I've been able to attribute 3 in the last month, but only because they were visible to the naked eye. I'm a slow but persistant learner. Very pretty CC!
