Hey Guys,
I have the chance to purchase a 1947 Pointed 7 W/ Dot as well as a 1948 $1. Both are ICCS MS60's. Wondering what would be a good price to offer on them. I mainly collect bills so I want to make an offer that will allow me some wiggle room on the selling/trading aspect as well.

Thanks for your help!

'47 dot trends @ $950
'48 trends @ $1800
You take it from there.

All Trends prices are negotiable, but key dates like 1948 1$ tend to command close to their trends prices. The last bunch of 1948 1$ MS60 in ICCS holders I saw at the last coin show I attended were selling for $1500-$1600.

Not slabbed? I wouldn't pay more than $1200.00 for both.

Not PCGS but they are ICCS certified MS60s.

1945V has it bang on the buck. The '47 is more of a gamble, I wouldn't expect it to bring $900.00 more likely to sell around $500-700 range IMO.

AZTMAT, generally KEY date silver dollars command 75-90% trends, and if they are I.C.C.S. slabbed all the more Power to you! Go for it, after all it's only money and remember: "ya can't take it with you when yer gone, so enjoy!".

there is also good ms 60 and bad ms 60, if you like toning or a blast white ms 60, most of the time a white coin is easier to sell again. for a 1948 ICCS ms 60 about 1700.00 there are many at major shows to choose from

I have to go to Montreal to get them, which is about 1.5 hours away. We are negotiating and currently at $1800 on the pair.

The pair for $1800 and both are ICCS MS60. I think I would jump in my car right away and head to Montreal before he changes his mind. Sounds like a bargain to me.

That is totally reasonable. I would haggle some more to try and lower the $$$ but personally would have no problem paying that price.

Is it me, the lighting or the picture...but why does george look weird on the 1947 coin? He doesn't look right...like the nose and eyes areas? Just me?
