Poll Question
If any of you have an 1837 through 1842 Seated dime, do you have a rotated reverse?

This is a gallop poll for my own curiosity because I have all of these years with a couple of O MMs, have posted them all, and each year except for the 41-P, all of my reverses are rotated to some degree and in either direction (clockwise or counter)depending on which coin.

How common was this and lets see what the stats look like off the poll...

Poll Choices
YES! My goodness, I too have a dime in one of these years and the revere is rotated!
Ummm, dime here but no reverse...put that in your stat pipe and smoke it mister!
I do not have one of these but I am curious now that you bring it up...
Don't own, don't care and frustrated I wasted 84 seconds of my life reading this...

I really wouldn't bother looking. I already know that about 25% of all my Mercury dimes have some reverse rotation. Possibly 15% of all my Buffalo nickels also have rotated reverses. If there are many or some of the other coins in my collection like that, I'll look someday. Maybe.

I'm curious about the early days of the mint for Seated dimes...not mercs or buffaloes but thanks for the input
