would the middle and bottom make FSB? if it were a mint and year that rarely ever sees an FSB, would it make FSB versus a common FSB instance issue?

thank you

I only look at the middle set of bands, I don't think this one is rounded off enough nor seperated enough to make a FSB designation. But I'll defer to the Merc experts on this one.

As westcoin mentioned, the middle bands are usually the last to remain fully split. I don't_quite think this one makes it. If they're difficult in FSB, then they're expensive in FSB and a TPG would likely hold it to a higher standard.

IMO, this one isn't really that close. Not split.

i agree as much as it hurts to say it
its a lustrous 39-S

what a coin it would be full split but I guess 75% still makes it a good one to have

Ooooh. Yeah, they're a tad pricey in FB. Not quite 1945-P, but well more than double the value.

'39-S is one of the worst for strike of the later dates for sure (probably only '45-P is worse). Even non-FB seem harder than they ought to be in the better grades.
