Does anyone know for sure who could say yea or nay to what is Wickipedia? Does it seem reasonable that a penny could be coined at West Point (without a mintmark) and then shipped to Philadelphia for inclusion in their circulated sets? After all we've had ASE's minted at San Francisco without mintmarks never as such in a mint packaging (?). Report this Post to the Staff

I pretty clearly stated twice cents were minted at West Point between 1973 and 1986. Any input on whether they were included in mint sets would only be conjecture. Report this Post to the Staff

The mint sets coins have been minted separately from circulation strikes for a long time; I think since at least 1968.
