Hi, I wanted to know if this 1989D dime is an error coin or if it is PMD. It looks like it is elongated east to west a little bit. The coin looks flattened on one side distorting the word LIBERTY and it looks as though it were grounded with something although you can feel some reeding on the flat spot. The reverse looks pushed in distorting the letter O in ONE but the rim is still there. The word STATES has some damage(may have been a vise to hold the coin while doing the damage?). The weight is 2.3grams which from what I have read is normal. What I basically want to know is what happened to this coin?
