Wear always shows up most obviously on the 'diameter' on Liberty's body and right leg, and on the Eagle's body, which includes the breast and left leg. That wear dominates in very worn coins, because some of the design intent is lost when those 'diameters' become obvious.
In terms of advanced wear, this is a weakenss in design in what is otherwise perhaps the World's most beautiful modern silver coin. I just love these things in MS60 or better, with mint lustre!
