I've always felt that 2009 50c were a little short in the Cud department, but am pleased to have been proven wrong.

Was just sorting out my desk and sifting through the little pile of Cuds from my 50c noodling about a month ago.

I think I need Robster's help with his new camera lens, or perhaps Nancy and her cud-a-scope, but here's what I've managed.

Apart from the roo's horn (perhaps it's a roo-na-horn) and the emu's comb, the main Cud areas are:

- The tree coming out of the mid roo's back
- The large one from it's shoulder blade
- A pretty busy area around the roo's feet and left ankle

More commonly found Cuds on:
- The main tip of the star
- Around the shield
- Around the 5 and 0

An impressive amount of Cuds on that coin Unicorn.! I have always had plans to noodle some decimal after finishing my pre-decimals- your coin makes it a worthwhile plan.! So back to my noodling- where was I- 1925 then 1926 then................

How apt for The Unicorn to be the first to discover a roo-na-horn? Well done!

I'll have to get my cud-a-scope working overtime now to find one too

or perhaps a rhino-roo ?

There's some cassowaries in the local zoo: aren't they the crankiest creatures you could hope to meet !
(a digression, I know, but I've been waiting to share that for a while).

What a great coin Unicorn. I'll be re-checking some of my multi-cudded fiddies now to see if I've overlooked something like this.
