Well I have been waiting a while for this! I finally got my mailbox dug out of the snow and the mailman delivered!

My girlish glee was soon smashed when I opened the package to find bits of plastic falling out and the slab being smashed to bits. Good thing this was a cheap coin.

OK, that would be aggravating to say the least. But at least he made it through it OK. And beautiful coin it is.

Sweet proof! Bummer on the holder.
Reverse toning is just classic.

At least you don't have to break it out. What state are you located in to get all the snow ?

I was going to go there, but was afraid that it may have been too soon.

I was thinking about breaking it out, but the holder is still holding on for dear life.
The guy I got it from was going to exchange it for me, he said he has another one just like it, I asked him if I could keep the one I have and buy that one from him lol
I am in Michigan right next to Lake Michigan. There was about 3 feet of snow by my mailbox. The plow didnt get close enough to the mailbox and just piled it all up in front of it. I didnt get to it for a few days and it turned to ice, so I had to break it up with a spade first. Not fun at all...

As for whats in the pile I have another thread on here with my nice toned wheat. There are a bunch of LWC, LMC, 2 rolls of pennies, a few quarters, a few halfs. Nothing special, no silver.
