I see no VDB... Might be tough for a 1909 S VDB if there's no VDB...

Maybe he posted the wrong photograph. I've contacted many a seller telling them the photo isn't what it's supposed to be and most acknowledge the wrong picture was used and promptly replaced it with the correct image. Has anypne actually asked the seller for a close up of the VDB? Ed ANA LM-3175

He claims to be a full time dealer since 1988. My question to him: Quote: Can I get closeup pictures of the mintmark and VDB? Thanks. Dave Awaiting response.

Looks more like a blob than an "S"

Doesn't look like there's a 'VDB' on that coin.

Well, I can see the VDB. He's not exactly showing it off, though.

He seems to specialize in coins, so he must be informed. It's funny how many of the uninitiated seem to think that any 1909 S is automatically a VDB since he adapted the portrait to the coin.

I don't think the S is in the right position to be a VDB.

The 's' is funny looking and the vdb is non-existent. Other than that a decent 1909svdb :>

I don't see a VDB on it either. Looks like someone bought it though. Maybe they have a permanent marker or a dremel tool to fix that VDB issue with?
