This incomplete planchet is 1956D-1MM-007 as shown by photos below. Black arrows show matching die scratches to coppercoins EDS markers except: second to last photo of old die clash across right leg of "N" in CENT on reverse.

Overlay matches you coin to this die nice find. The lack of the markers are that you coin is a later die state than the one on coppercoins.

If albertharris coin is a LDS why does it show almost no die abrasion? The coin on CC's site says it's an EDS but it shows a lot of die abrasion .

Thank you for the response! Found 5 of this rpm in roll, this one was clipped. Nice original roll of red 56D's paper wrapped so outside of coins brown. If I send in for grading will this make them RB's? I use a lot of light for "IDing", try to darken photo's, but AmScope MD35 camera doesn't have detail coppercoins photo's have and die scratches don't show up in the low light. Thought I would try a MD130 when I want to spend another $75.
Any thoghts on this? Love to search the rolls, but my eyes don't work as well now that I'm older.

I bought my scope for 27 dollars and for what I use it for its perfect my only problem is figuring out the best light to use without the glare. I've read an article saying that putting a white piece of plastic like from a white trash bag and its suppose to take that glare away.

Thank you daniels, I'll try that. I have been using white paper on the off light side to help even the light. Also, have blocked some light the same way.

For some reason the proof coins are the hardest but the not so bright coins are easier for me I think I need a desk lamp or something who knows

albertharris:
I want to thank you for posting your "Graded coin updates"
I follow all your post. I do not respond to them all because you are good at IDing them yourself.
