Hello all, since you guys were so helpful with my 1928 P Peace dollar post, I was wondering if you could help with this. I have never really seen this kind of color on an indian before! That, and I was wondering what the grade is?

Thanks.

I'd say a minimum of AU55 the color may be due to a recoloring, and possible cleaning, any chance of really sharp close up photos if the surface in the fields. Almost looks like a polishing may have been done some time ago. The colors of this IHC look heat treated IMO. Still a lot of detail. If I'm wrong about the cleaning it might go low MS grades 60-62 possibly.

High AU or MS details, IMO. The color of the coin looks unnatural to me and almost has a appearance of a copper nickel Indian cent.

Color seems a bit off, but it could be the lighting. It's UNC details, and if not recolored, probably MS62-63.

I'm with supgog. Can't see any wear on this one, and no rim nicks, either. Agree with color comments as well.

VERY nice IHC. I agree w/ MS condition. Cannot tell from the pictures, but is there any luster present? If not, it was probably dipped long ago and re-toned...

I would give this an MS 63 BN. I'm not sure about the color. It could be natural.
