I have been hunting for that particular variety for what seems like forever. It is one of the few I need. I have searched sooo many 62's. Ahh well...the search goes on. I just needed to vent a little. LOL! HH all.

Yes it is John1.
I see them from time to time on the bay but I prefer to pay face for my coins. :)

I've only found 1 while CRH. It's a nice red one. I don't bother looking on the brown pennies.

I just found one a couple of hours ago while CRH but it's fairly circulated, only about VG or so. There's a big pile of goop right on the lower part of the strings so I'm having a tough time telling if it's a guitar or harp. Either way, it was only 1c outlay!

It's the 1962 1 cent that has 5 vertical die cracks going from the base of the 1 in "1 cent" straight down into the maple leaf.

1962 Harp: 1962 Guitar: To Identify these coins. Look at the bottom of the 1 on the reverse of the coin. The Large 1 in the top portion of the coin "1 CENT". The lines run from the bottom of the "1" to the leaf. Five (5) lines in total. For the Guitar they will run from the 1 to the leaf. For the Harp variety...they will run from the 1 and come short of connecting with the leaf. Two of the lines in the Harp may touch the leaf but the rest will not. You will notice a difference between the two varieties. Above pictures borrowed from CoinsAndCanada.com ( http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...nt-1953-1964 for reference only.
