Karl, welcome to the forum! Although you got a bit of rough handling in the beginning, you'll find that everyone wants to improve the hobby (or business in some instances) and you just happened to be a convenient target. From your responses, you appear to be honest and willing to learn more as most of the rest of us do. Believe me, some of us have been burned pretty badly on ebay and have learned some very expensive lessons, so you're in good company.

There are a LOT of problems with ebay and you'll hear about most of them here. We also discuss a lot of solutions for ebay's woes, but the greatest problem is that ebay doesn't listen. While we don't expect to invoke many changes at ebay from our level due to ebay's insensitivity and corporate greed, nevertheless, if enough of us push, we can move mountains.

It sounds like you're one of us. Again, welcome Karl!

Rest in Peace

Karl, I think is a bit unfair to say people here judged you before they knew the facts. The only "facts" we had was your lashing out at someone who was trying to point out an error in your listing. If your response had been as it was the second time no one here would have had harsh words for you! We all want only what's best for buyers and sellers alike! Look at this as a learning experience. Most of us have been burned on a coin deal and all we can to is try to educate others from our own mistakes. No hard feelings and I hope to see your posts in the future! Mike

The coins have never left the cellophane mint sealed pouch, they were put into 2x2 holders, with the coin still in the original pouch. On some you can see the edge of the blue or red mint marking sticking out of the holders. So, the does it mean that because the staples that were put into the holders may have broken the the pouches seal with tiny holes, does that devalue the coin inside? As you can see Ive relisted them as a lot and removed 5 of them from the holders to take pictures. There still in the mint sealed pouches in my gallery picture. I ran them by a local coin dealer here and she told me the grades are accurate.

The original Mint-issued package was for multiple coins. These coins have been cut out (without breaking the seal around the individual coins) but are not in the same condition as when they were issued from the mint. This leaves a lot of margin for interpretation as to whether they should be considered "Mint-sealed". The sets have been broken apart. In my opinion, these coins could be sold as coins from mint sets, but not as "Mint-sealed" coins. I see where this could be seen as splitting hairs, but there are many areas of numismatics that are exactly that.

That is just my opinion. I'm sure there will be others here who disagree.

This whole thing can be cleared up with the use of a comma.
Make it "Mint, Sealed".
i.e it came from the mint and is now sealed in a 2x2.
But seriously this is a classic example of why people should learn about the product they want to buy. All of us here know what mint sealed means. So the only people who will look twice are those who know nothing about coins and are unwilling to spend a little time to do research.
I agree some what with ND but I also think most people are their own worst enemies. If you have access to ebay then you have access to the tools you need to research the products you want.
Oh sorry if my grammer and spelling are a little off. English was never my strong point.
