From the pics alone I would say *AU50+ brown* would probably grade higher in hand.

Nice coin, indeed a tough one to grade.
I also have similar shape cents with a sort of Haze effect probably from sulfur oxide.
All dealers I showed them to range from AU to MS62 so I take it with a grain of salt.
Yours dose look it has very light wear.

I was thinking low side of AU because there is some slight wear. Some loss of crown detail.

From the way the grain is going I would say, slight 'woodie' and with a small rub on the obverse should be AU-58

Hi,

I'd go with an AU-50 as the low-end grade only because the horizontal streaking could be perceived as an attempt to chemically clean this coin.
