If you look at the Specs you will see that the planchet is "pure copper" and the plating is 24 karat gold.

I think the producers knew their clever wording wouldn't fool everybody, but more than enough people who think they are getting the deal of the century to make it profitable.

I know that some fakes are actually worth money but mainly for older ones. What do you suppose the value of this coin could be if it's an extremely well done strike?

is a dead give away 10 mil is thinner than a plastic shopping bag from the grocery store,most of them are 13 mil thick.
