Hello fellow collectors, I'm new to this site and wanted to get some feedback on some coins I've been collecting over the years. I collect mint errors and have for the last 10+ years and I was reading the article on the 66 DDR when I stumbled upon this site. What a great opportunity to see if anyone has some insight on a super rare DDO I have. It's a 71 Lincoln and I know, the Phili's are a dime a doz, but this variety is from Denver. It's only the 2nd one I've ever seen and mine is the only one authenticated to date as far as I know. Anyhow, I Can post picts if anyone's interested in see it, that is if I can figure out how to do it. Thanks, T

"Anyhow, I Can post picts ..."
Uh, yes, please do! The folks here CRAVE pictures, and they will happily give you their opinions in return. Problems with posting pics can be fixed easily - just ask. It took me some time to figure it out. Welcome.

Welcome to CCF. Images would be a great aid. Even the date and mint mark would help to identify if it is a variety that is known.

I'm more of a error coin freak then a variety freak and thought I was going to get tared & feathered from the variety collectors here on CCF when I first joined and posted that I didn't think varieties should be called errors. Needless to say, since joining this site, I now find myself at the self checkout in the stores (grocery, home depot, etc.) and deposit enough change so the total due ends in a 1 or 6 so I receive at-least 4ΒΆ back in Cents so I could check them for varieties... If your into errors (both USA & World ~ Coins & Currency), I have posted at-least 200 errors since joining CCF.

Of course we are interested. Why else would we be lurking around a coin forum when we should be working or doing things that may be more important? Please post pics.
