Yes I agree MS63 but, ebay "Private Listings," not sure about this. I'm not a ebay buyer but have viewed and read a number of listings. Hopefully some one is more knowledgeable.

i wouldn't spend that type of money on that coin raw on ebay unless you absolutely know what you're doing that coin does not indicate it would TPG at MS63 to my eyes when comparing to historic auctions just now on HA the winner had better carefully remove that from the sellers holder and hope they dont give crap when you re-staple it and they fight paypal and ebay against you Quote: WE WOULD LIKE ALL SALES TO BE FINAL. WE DO HOWEVER OFFER A 14 DAY RETURN POLICY AS LONG AS THE COIN HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED FROM THE ORIGINAL HOLDER.

There is some weakness on the wreath on the reverse and a little weakness at the end of the tail feathers on the obverse. Since FE have been plagued with strike issues this might not be wear, but the result of a weak strike. If so, I would give a low MS grade. MS 61 or 62.

His feedback would scare me away for sure. Some of his remarks made me laugh out loud. I'd avoid.

Looks AU55 or 58 and likely cleaned then re-colored. It looks like it was colored to match a brown bronze cent instead of a copper-nickel cent.

The Fly-Ins know more about these than I ever will, but... AU at best, and recolored.

wouldn't touch this coin unless cheap! A very good chance of AT and cleaning. The seller has an incredible amount of very desireable coins, and has for awhile now. Most look like problem coins or detail graded TPG stuff, cleaned mostly, nothing really bad, I'd say 80%+ of his "high grade" labeled coins are AU at best cleaned or over dipped. Still not bad looking at the quality of the coins, if the price is right to get them considering the above. This auction I'm afraid was overpaid by around $300.00 IMO.

I was thinking high AU range as well. I see no way it would be ms63 and this one went for waaaay more than it was worth. not to mention it was raw. Hope no one here bought that bad boy.
