The coin in hand is a little darker than the picture. It has a bluish tone to it. Does that affect the grade any?

MS64... potentially MS65 if this bluish tone you speak of gives it greater eye appeal with the coin in hand than the picture offers.

Should I think about slabbing it? Was not expecting it to grade this well and the numismedia value is a lot higher than what I paid for it.

Beautiful coin! I think it is a solid MS64 and very choice. If you plan on selling it may be better for you to have it slabbed.

It looks like it was struck from clashed dies. Not that it's bad...just an observation.

I'm going MS63 on this one, it may have been over dipped at one point (like 1970-80's era) but is nicely retoning to a very desirable look.
